Delete Pending emails from Outbox

  • Open Windows Live Mail and look for Outbox in the left pane.

  • Delete the selected Emails (Make sure to keep the back up of the media files in case there is something important).

Now send an Email to check if the error 0x8007007A has resolved or not. This is a workaround if the error appears again then you should follow the next method.

Remove and reconfigure the WLM account

  • Open Windows Live Mail
  • Go to Tools and look for Accounts.
  • Now open Accounts.
  • Select the email address that you want to remove.
  • Click on the Remove button on the right side of the window.
  • Click OK to remove the account.

  • Now to add your account again.
  • Click on the Add button, and select the email account.
  • Click next and type in your email address, password, and display name.

  2. Select Programs and Features.
  3. Look for and select Windows Essentials.
  4. Click on the Uninstall/Change button located on the top of the window.
  5. Select Repair all Windows Live programs.
  6. Wait until the process completes.
  7. Once the process completes, restart your computer.
  8. Now try sending an email again.
