Solution 1: Troubleshoot Internet Connections

  • Go to settings from the start menu.
  • Type Troubleshoot and tap enter.
  • The Troubleshooting menu will open.
  • On the right side of the screen click on Additional troubleshooters.

  • Now click on Run the troubleshooter.
  • Follow the instructions on the screen to finish the troubleshooting steps.

Now restart your PC or laptop and see if the Wireless network is working.

  • Follow the first four steps in the previous solution.
  • Inside Additional troubleshooters, click on  Network Adapter.

  • Open downloads to see the downloaded file.
  • Right-click on the driver’s file.
  • Click on Properties.
  • Now click on the Compatibility tab which is located on the upper side of the window.
  • Tick mark the box next to Run this program in compatibility mode for.
  • Click on the drop-down menu and select Windows 7
  • Click OK to save the settings.

  • Right-click on the driver executable and select Run as Administrator. If any prompt appears Click Yes to proceed.
  • Follow the instructions on the screen to finish the driver installation.

Solution 4: Disable Your Anti-Virus

Sometimes Anti-viruses software can cause this issue. You can check this you temporarily disabling your Anti-Virus. Here is how you can do it.

Check all of the cables connected to your Wireless Adapter. There might be a faulty wire or one of the wires may not be connected properly.
